Known for taking to heart the little details, Tiny Timbers Resort offers everything from lodging & spa to a scratch-based coffee bistro, onsite activities and a gift shop.
Lodging includes several cabins and tiny homes, each decorated rustic-modern with great care to provide guests with the highest level of comfort and convenience. The property has a spring-fed pond and provides direct access the Rio Grande National Forest and hundreds of miles of ATV, jeep and snowmobile trails. Guests can fish the Upper Rio Grande – a river designated as the longest stretch of Gold Metal Waters in Colorado. Tiny Timbers also offers lodging guests access to the Rio Grande Golf Club, which includes discounted greens fees, pool & hot tub, fitness center and more.
The bistro serves fresh-baked pastries & muffins, made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos and scratch biscuits & sausage gravy. The lunch menu includes sandwiches, wraps & salads and occasional specials. Coffee and espresso drinks are served authentic Italia- style with porcelain cups. Flavored syrups are made in-house using fresh ingredients. All-natural smoothies, hand-shaken summer tea, and lavender lemonade are top sellers.
A tidbit of history: “Our first project was … the Honeymoon Cabin. Locals tell us that this cabin, once part of the BAR Cattle Ranch, was used as a honeymoon cabin for the cowboys working the ranch! We took the cabin down to the foundation and completely rebuilt it saving the original, rustic logs. We used salvaged tin from the old barn to face the ceiling and installed antique reclaimed wood for the floor and barn doors. We adore the combination of rustic and modern, which you’ll see in the kitchen. Leathered granite, stainless steel appliances and knotty wood cabinets.” – Owner, Cheryl McIntosh

These folks are FANTASTIC! I love everything about this place!
